Welcome, chances are you're seeking therapy because there is something blocking your path, your progress forward. You may be looking for ways to heal pain, address grief, soothe anxious thoughts, cultivate loving relationships or all of the above. People come to therapy for myriad reasons, often in a state of distress and the results of taking time to talk in a therapeutic environment can be life-changing.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Grief and Bereavement Support
  • Trauma Resolution
  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Identity Development & Confidence Restoration
  • Professional Burn Out
  • Substance Use
  • Effective Communication
  • Chronic Physical and/or Mental Illness
  • Severe & Persistent Mental Illness (including Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia)
  • Clinical Supervision

I've had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and walks of life. I deeply enjoy working with those who would not typically have access to mental health services, members of the LGBTQIA2S community, and people who are reluctant to try therapy.

Over the past 10 years of working in this profession, I have gathered professional experience as a direct service provider, program manager and director, working in numerous communities in the Bay Area and includes individual therapy, couples, families and group therapy, clinical supervision, inpatient hospitalization, crisis residential facilities, schools and hospice settings. I provide clinical supervision and consultation to MFT Associates (formerly MFT Interns).

I have earned certifications in Thanatology (the study of death, dying and bereavement) and Narrative Therapy.

I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, CA and a BA in Visual Arts from Kenyon College, Gambier, OH. Prior to my work as a therapist, I worked in independent film and taught Visual Arts in California Public Schools.

When not in the therapy office, I spend as much time as possible outdoors, hiking, running and enjoying the myriad adventures California offers.
